Definitely coming back!

This hotel is so amazing, the decor is beautiful and our Guest Representatives Tayla & Stephanie were more than amazing, we came from out of town and they recommended us places to dine and ensured that we were comfortable while staying within the hotel, I would recommend this place to many friends and family! & Once again, a special thanks to Tayla & Stephanie.. we really appreciated everything

A perfect place for our family of 5 (including balcony overlooking Thanksgiving day parade)

Our family of 5 (mom, dad, and kids ages 14, 11, and 7) spent 6 nights here during Thanksgiving week and absolutely loved it. We reserved a 2 bedroom suite. We arrived before our room was ready, but we were able to check our luggage downstairs while we went out to sightsee. The location is excellent. To the West, we were within walking distance of the museum district (Barnes Foundation, Franklin Institute), with just a bit further on to get to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Eastern State Penitentiary. To the East, we were very close to Love Park (with the German market) and City Hall/Dilworth Park (Christmas light show and some local shops). To the south are a bunch of restaurants and conveniences (Wawa, CVS, liquor store) within an easy walk (our favorite was Animo, but we also like Green Line Café and Hip City Veg). We took an Uber whenever we went to the historic area of Philly, and it never took more than 10 minutes. I loved that there is a Hertz rental car office in the building. We rented a car one day to get out of the city and visit Winterthur and Longwood Gardens, and it was easy to pick up the car from hotel valet parking and then return it to hotel valet parking that night (without having to pay an overnight parking charge). We then rented a car upon our check-out in order to drive to Lancaster, and again it was a breeze to pick up the car from the hotel valet parking. When I booked, I had requested a balcony overlooking the Thanksgiving Day parade route (Benjamin Franklin Parkway), and we got it! I'm not sure if all of the 2-bedroom suites overlook the Parkway, but regardless, that feature alone was worth the money. It was AWESOME to be able to check out the parade on a very cold Thanksgiving day from our balcony, without having to be downstairs and outside in the cold the whole time. We just kept running back and forth between the balcony and the heat inside! The 2 bedroom suite that we had was HUGE! Split floorplan, with the master bedroom and an en suite bathroom on one side, and the other bedroom and bathroom (not en suite, but just outside the bedroom door) on the other side. The master bedroom had 2 HUGE walk-in closets, plus a linen closet. The king size bed was very comfortable, and there was a nice window (no balcony) overlooking the Parkway. The bathroom was clean and fine, although perhaps a little small considering the amount of space in the closets that could be utilized to make a larger bathroom. The other bedroom had 2 queen sized beds and, again, a large window (no balcony) overlooking the Parkway. The second bedroom also had a huge walk-in closet, but no dresser in the bedroom. The second bathroom was also a bit small, and it had an adjoining linen closet. Each bathroom had a simple sink, toilet, and shower/tub combo. The main living area was a very nice size. There was a huge walk-in closet right by the front door (you could hardly call it a coat closet given its huge size!) and the living area straight ahead had a couch, coffee table, chair, side table, and mounted TV (decent size, but not huge). Just beyond that was a dining table that could seat 5 or 6, but there happened to be only 3 chairs in our particular suite. And then the huge sliding doors leading to the balcony were beyond that. And finally, the kitchen area was galley-style, not very large. It included a fridge, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, and microwave. The cabinets and appliances could use updating, but it was fine for our needs. The hotel gave us a few bottles of complimentary bottled water, and the housekeeper ran the dishwasher for us at night. The hotel lobby was very nice and comfortable and included a full-time greeter/doorman at the front door. The condition of our room was fine, but nothing special or luxurious. In fact, you could see imperfections in the ceilings throughout where construction had been done, but none of that bothered us. The housekeeping service was very good. On our floor (the 23rd) and in fact I believe on all floors, there was a large laundry room with 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, an ironing board, and counter for folding clothes. The laundry machines cost $2.25 each to use ($2.25 for the washer, $2.25 for the dryer), which could be paid via coins or by downloading and using a free app called Caldeco. The app turned out to be very easy to use, and after our check-out I was able to return the unused funds to my credit card. I never had to wait to use the laundry machines, but I must say that each time I went to use them, there were people either just finishing or just starting, and so I'm guessing they get regular use. The hotel has 2 restaurants - Con Murphy's Irish Pub and Asia on the Parkway - both of which we tried. The Irish Pub is directly connected to the hotel lobby and actually provides the room service for the hotel. It offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We enjoyed our dinner there. Asia on the Parkway is probably open only for lunch and dinner, and we thought the food was also very good. It cannot be accessed from the lobby, though; you have to go outside and walk about 50 feet to get to the entrance. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very nice, from the front desk to housekeeping to the front door greeter to the valet parkers to maintenance. And even on Thanksgiving when we had our Do Not Disturb sign on the door because we wanted to stay home to watch the parade, the housekeeper still checked with us to see if we needed anything, such as clean towels. The heat worked great the whole time we were there, and I loved that there were individual thermostats for each bedroom as well as for the main living area. We never had to wait very long for one of the 3 elevators to become available. And we never heard any noise from the hallway or from another room. Staying at the Windsor Suites was one of the best decisions we made for our vacation. No, it wasn't luxurious, but it was clean, well-located, had every amenity we needed, and the balcony for the parade was great. The beds were comfortable, the towels were clean, and the showers had HOT water and great pressure. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Philly

I highly recommend

I love this hotel! When my husband and I are in Philly, we stay here because it feels like a home away from home. The staff is always polite and they go above and beyond your expectations. The high level of customer service is always consistent. My only complaint is the high rate for parking. Especially when you're here for a few days, $45/day racks up quick. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel

Perfect

We came down for one night to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Everyone from the parking lot attendants to the front desk staff could not have been nicer or more pleasant. We had booked a king room with a visit philly package which included parking, passes to ride the Phlash, and tickets to Museum of the American Revolution and The Constitution Center. The extras were worth a good bit and the package was extremely affordable. The front desk staff asked if we were there for a special occasion and gave us a bottle of wine when we said it was our anniversary. The location was good. There were two restaurants, a Chinese place and an Irish pub attached to the hotel, but we didn't try them. But, it's definitely a nice option, especially if you were there with kids or when the weather was cold. We would definitely stay again

Very impressed.

We are really happy with the service that we got from the front desk and the staff. There was a small issue with the room and the front desk took care of us right away. The location was perfect. Valet parking and good price. Would return
